Who is considered to be the most influential leader of the early Christian church?

Paul is generally considered the most influential leader of the early Christian church after Jesus. Through his missionary journeys and letters, he helped spread Christianity beyond its Jewish origins and shaped many Christian teachings. Constantine later supported Christianity as emperor, but he was not an early church leader in the same sense.
