Revolt for EdgeX

Your EdgeX course, on autopilot.

Revolt on EdgeX
  • Auto Exam
  • Auto Instructions
  • Video speed presets
  • Auto Assignment
  • Auto Project
  • Auto Advance

EdgeX is the new Edgenuity at student.ex.edgenuity.com, and most old scripts died when schools switched. Revolt was built for it: quizzes and exams answered, lesson videos on 5x–20x presets, assignments and projects handled, and Auto Advance to the next activity.

Built for EdgeX

Made for the new player, not patched onto the old one

EdgeX renders everything with Learnosity on a React shell. These features were written against that, and they ship in the Revolt script today.

  • Auto Exam, rebuilt for EdgeX

EdgeX quizzes, tests and exams are Learnosity questions on a React page — nothing like the classic player. Revolt reads them natively, looks each one up in the answer database, and falls back to AI for anything new.

    • Multiple choice, checkbox, dropdown, cloze, matching, ordering, classification and formula questions
    • Reads EdgeX attempt cards and retakes, and works the unlocked questions first while locked ones open up
    • Humanized delays between answers and Auto Retry when a score lands under your threshold
    Learn more

  • Auto Instructions with video speed

Instruction, Warm-Up and Summary activities advance on their own: lesson videos play through on your 5x, 10x or 20x preset, frames move on a countdown, and the practice questions and short-writing prompts in between get answered.

    • EdgeX-only video speed presets (5x by default, 10x and 20x available)
    • Practice questions answered straight from Learnosity's own data
    • Short-writing prompts written and submitted on a delay you set
    Learn more

  • Auto Assignment

EdgeX assignment, writing, essay and journal activities run through the same engine as Auto Instructions: answers come from the question data EdgeX loads with the page, writing prompts get an AI-written response, and the video speed presets apply when media is embedded.

    • Never guesses — anything it can't answer is left for you instead of submitted wrong
    • Progress widget, plus configurable delays between frames and before submit
    Learn more

  • Auto Project & performance tasks

Detects EdgeX projects and performance tasks that end in a file upload, reads the requirements, generates the document, uploads it and submits.

    • Built around EdgeX's upload zone, not the classic project screen
    • Live status for load, generate, upload, retry and submit
    Learn more

  • Auto Advance

Hands you off to the next on-deck EdgeX activity when one finishes, with Locked and Unlocked modes and score filters so it never skips an exam you should retake.

    • Continue, stop, or ask when you land back on the course map
    • Pairs with Auto Exam and Auto Instructions for hands-free progress
    Learn more

  • Session & focus tools

Anti Logout keeps EdgeX from timing you out, Allow Tab Out keeps videos playing while you're elsewhere, and a dark theme built for EdgeX's interface — plus Mute Audio, Video Dimmer, Privacy Shield, duplicate-tab support and custom backgrounds.

    • Presets — ASAP, Light, Medium, Safe — and keyboard shortcuts
    • Settings sync across devices, tied to your account

Answer database

EdgeX answers come from the same database

Auto Exam checks every EdgeX question against the Revolt answer database first — the same one you can search for free. EdgeX activities are indexed alongside classic Edgenuity, so a lookup works whether your school switched last week or last year. Brand-new questions get AI fallback inside the script.

What Revolt handles on EdgeX

Automated means Revolt does it in your browser; assisted means Revolt does it on its servers while you watch.

  • Automated

    Quizzes & tests

Learnosity question sets answered from the database with AI fallback; locked questions are skipped until they unlock.

  • Automated

    Unit & cumulative exams

Attempt cards, retakes and score thresholds handled; humanized delays keep the pacing believable.

  • Automated

    Instruction & lectures

Videos played through on a 5x, 10x or 20x preset, frames advanced on a countdown, practice questions answered.

  • Automated

    Warm-Ups & Summaries

Treated like instructions: sped through with the practice checks answered along the way.

  • Automated

    Short-writing prompts

The writing boxes inside EdgeX instruction activities are written and submitted on a delay.

  • Automated

    Assignments

Assignment, writing, essay and journal activities answered from EdgeX's own question data; writing prompts drafted by AI.

  • Automated

    Projects & performance tasks

Requirements read, document generated, file uploaded through EdgeX's upload zone, submitted.

  • Automated

    Lesson videos

5x, 10x or 20x presets in Auto Instructions and Auto Assignment; Allow Tab Out keeps them playing off-tab.

  • Assisted

    Whole classes, hands-free

Cloud Completions run EdgeX classes on Revolt's servers — you link the account and watch live.

Good to know

  • One Revolt script covers EdgeX and classic Edgenuity. Install it once with Tampermonkey.
  • Writing prompts inside EdgeX activities are handled by Auto Instructions and Auto Assignment; the classic Auto Essay, Auto Journal, Auto Vocabulary and Auto Language toggles are Edgenuity-only.
  • Drag-and-drop and drawing questions aren't automated — finish those by hand and Revolt continues.
  • Proctorio support applies to classic Edgenuity exam pages.

FAQ

EdgeX questions, answered

What students ask when their school moves them to student.ex.edgenuity.com.

EdgeX is Edgenuity's newer student experience at student.ex.edgenuity.com: same district, same courses, but a rebuilt interface with Learnosity question types instead of the classic player. Many scripts written for classic Edgenuity don't load on it at all. Revolt supports both, with a dedicated EdgeX implementation.
