Ethics are defined as ___________________.

Ethics are the beliefs, values, and moral principles people use to judge what is right and wrong. Political correctness and popular opinion do not necessarily determine what is ethical, and “following the right course of action” describes acting ethically rather than defining ethics. The correct choice is “the beliefs, values, and moral principles that help us to determine right and wrong.”
