Which detail from the myth best shows Perseus being helped by a supernatural power?

Hermes is a god, so his guidance is help from a supernatural power. By telling Perseus where to find tools for battle, Hermes directly helps him prepare for his quest. The other details describe actions by humans or events that do not show a god helping Perseus.
