Question 4 • US History II S1 - Molyneux - 6250 - 2026/27

Think about what you have learned about union activities in the 1800s. How did strikes hurt unions' goals? List at least two arguments in opposition to the use of strikes.

Answer

Answer:

Strikes sometimes turned the public against unions and became violent, putting workers at risk of injury or death. Striking workers could also lose their jobs, and strikes did not always succeed in achieving workers’ goals.
