My about what will happen is that the girl and her mom will find a way to work things out.

A prediction is a statement about what someone thinks will happen in the future. The sentence says the girl and her mom “will find a way” to work things out, so it is a prediction. A conflict is a problem or disagreement, not a guess about what will happen.
