Why was Amiens Cathedral such an important building?

Amiens Cathedral was important because it housed a relic believed to be the head of Saint John the Baptist. It was not the last Gothic cathedral ever built, and rose windows appeared in earlier churches, so “all of the above” is not correct. The correct choice is “It housed the relics of Saint John the Baptist.”
