50,000+ students using this

Most students log in to Edmentum at login.edmentum.com, using Google sign-in or the email and password their school set up. Some schools still use the older PLATO site at ple.platoweb.com, which asks for three things: an account login code (your school's code), your username and your password. If one page doesn't recognize you, try the other before you reset anything.

That's the short version. The rest of this guide is a decision tree for figuring out which login you have, where Exact Path, Study Island and EdOptions Academy fit in, and how to fix the errors students hit most often. Once you're inside a course, Revolt can take it from there, but you have to get through the door first.

Which Edmentum login do you have?

Edmentum has been moving schools from the legacy PLATO login to its newer unified sign-in. Which one you use depends on your school, not on you. Work through these in order:

  1. 1Check what your teacher or school gave you. If you got an 'account login code' or 'site code' along with a username, you're almost certainly on the legacy PLATO page at ple.platoweb.com.
  2. 2If you were told to 'sign in with Google' or use your school email, go to login.edmentum.com and pick the Google option with your school account, not your personal one.
  3. 3If your school uses a portal like Clever or ClassLink, start there and click the Edmentum tile. You may never see an Edmentum password at all.
  4. 4If none of that works, ask your teacher which login your class uses. They can see your account and reset your password.

The legacy PLATO login, explained

'PLATO login' is still one of the most searched Edmentum terms, because PLATO Courseware is the product most high schoolers use for credit recovery, summer school and online electives. On the legacy page, the account login code identifies your school or district. It's the same for everyone at your school, so if you lost it, a classmate or your teacher has it.

Usernames on PLATO are set by the school, often a student ID or a first-initial-last-name pattern. Passwords are case-sensitive. If your school recently switched to the newer sign-in, your old PLATO credentials may stop working on ple.platoweb.com, which is the most common reason a login that worked last semester suddenly fails.

Exact Path, Study Island and EdOptions Academy

Edmentum runs several programs, and how you get into each one depends on how your school set it up. Treat the notes below as a starting point rather than a rule:

  • •Exact Path: the adaptive K–12 program. Many schools send students through Edmentum's main sign-in or a school portal. Younger students sometimes log in with a simplified class login their teacher sets up. More on the program in our Exact Path guide.
  • •Study Island: the standards practice program. It has historically had its own sign-in, and some schools now route it through Edmentum's main login or a portal. Check with your teacher. See Study Island answers for how the practice sessions work.
  • •EdOptions Academy: Edmentum's teacher-led virtual school. Enrolled students usually get login details in their enrollment email, and the coursework itself typically runs in Edmentum's course player. Details in our EdOptions Academy guide.

Common Edmentum login problems and fixes

'Invalid username or password'

Check that you're on the right page first. A legacy PLATO username won't work on the Google option, and a Google account won't work on the PLATO page. Then check caps lock and whether your school uses your student ID as the username. If it still fails, your teacher can reset your password from their side.

Google sign-in loops or picks the wrong account

This happens when your browser is signed in to a personal Google account. Open a fresh window, sign out of Google, then sign in with your school account only. On a school Chromebook, you're usually already signed in to the right account.

The page won't load or keeps spinning

Clear your cache for Edmentum's sites, turn off extensions that block scripts or pop-ups for those pages, and try another browser. On a school network, a content filter can block parts of the site. If it works at home but not at school, that's a network issue for your school's IT team.

You get logged out in the middle of work

Edmentum ends idle sessions after a while. If you lose your place often, save before stepping away. Revolt's Anti Logout setting dismisses session-timeout prompts while you work, which matters most in long tutorials.

After you log in: where Revolt fits

Revolt never asks for your Edmentum password. You log in yourself, open your course, and the Revolt script shows up inside the course player. From there:

  • •Auto Instructions steps through tutorial slide decks and answers the practice questions inside them.
  • •Auto Quiz answers mastery tests, post-tests and Practice.
  • •Auto Advance moves you to the next activity so you're not hunting for the Next button.
  • •Anti Logout, Configurable Delays and Work Hours keep sessions alive and pacing realistic.

Edmentum support runs as the Revolt userscript with Tampermonkey on a computer, and Chromebooks work where your school allows the Tampermonkey extension. For a full plan once you're in, read how to finish Edmentum fast.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Edmentum login website?+

Most students sign in at login.edmentum.com with Google or a school email. Some schools still use the legacy PLATO page at ple.platoweb.com, which asks for an account login code, username and password.

What is the PLATO account login code?+

It's a code that identifies your school or district on the legacy PLATO login page. Everyone at your school uses the same one, so your teacher or a classmate can give it to you.

Can I log in to Edmentum with Google?+

Yes, if your school set up Google sign-in. Use the Google option on login.edmentum.com and pick your school account, not a personal one.

How do I reset my Edmentum password?+

Students usually can't reset school-managed passwords themselves. Ask your teacher, who can reset it from their account, or your school's IT team if you sign in through Google or a portal.

Does Revolt need my Edmentum password?+

No. You log in to Edmentum yourself, and the Revolt script works inside the course you already have open.

Get in, then get it done

Once your login works, install Revolt for Edmentum and activate a key from the pricing page: 1 day for $2.50, 1 week for $10 or 1 month for $25, one-time. Setup takes about two minutes, and the same key covers Edgenuity, EdgeX and Subject too.
